Noble Park Aquatic Centre will be holding an open day on 18 November celebrating International Day of People with Disability. This day aims to raise awareness and provide opportunities for people with disability in our community.

The event will be giving people with disability, their carers, family and support groups free access to the NPAC facility on Monday 18 November from 11 am – 2 pm. This event will be run in partnership with our council partner - City of Greater Dandenong - https://www.greaterdandenong.com/ 

On the day there will be:
Free Entry and use of the facility
Splash Park
Group Exercise Classes
Free Sausage Sizzle

Staying Safe in the Water
Inexperienced, weak and non-swimmers or those that may require any further supervision are encouraged to speak to the centre’s reception staff members prior to entering the pool.
 
To ensure your safety in the water please follow these principles:
 

  • Read the Safety Signs
  • Enter Feet First
  • Stay Within Your Safe Depth
  • Swim With a Friend
  • Put Your Hand Up For Help

 
Carer Supervision
Carers must stay in close proximity to the person they are caring for and maintain visual supervision. Upon entry staff will discuss the patrons swimming ability and asses the requirement for the carer to enter the water with the person they are caring for
